A Legacy Built on Passion & Craftsmanship
Founder Aaron Leupp grew up in the formalwear industry. From an early age, he cleaned dress shoes, crafted ties, and learned the fundamentals of tailoring. As time went on, he helped friends find tuxedos for proms, which strengthened his passion even more. Because of this early exposure, formalwear never felt like work—it felt like purpose.
Meanwhile, the SUITUX story reaches even further back. In 1982, Aaron’s parents met while working at Abrams Formalwear in Palo Alto, California. Even before that, both had already built careers in men’s formalwear during the mid-1970s—Patty at Gingiss Formalwear and Brian at Selix Formalwear. Together, the family contributes over 50 years of hands-on experience, combining generations of craftsmanship, knowledge, and dedication.
Today, they also own Mr. Formal, a tuxedo and suit store in Arizona. As a result, SUITUX was born from real-world experience, not theory.

Working long days in extreme Arizona heat—often exceeding 120°F—Aaron experienced the reality of true craftsmanship. Surrounded by steam presses, fabric, and constant motion, he still saw something rewarding. In fact, happy customers, unforgettable photos, and meaningful reviews made every challenge worthwhile.
However, even when some customers barely glanced at their finished tux before driving away, the standard never dropped. When Aaron once asked his father why they put so much effort into every garment, the answer was simple:
“Because we do.”
